This product is easy to apply and instantly restores worn jackets, waistcoats and hats to their original texture and waterproof quality.

Whether applied to excessively-worn spots or used for regular preventive maintenance, this wax does the job.

Instructions for Use

Restore your jacket, waistcoat or a hat in five easy steps:

  • Use a sponge dipped in water to wipe off excess dirt;
  • Dip the tin in hot water to soften the wax;
  • Gently rub the wax on with clean cotton (apply to the entire surface or in parts);
  • Leave the jacket or hat to dry overnight in a warm and dry place;
  • Your restored jacket or hat is ready to use in the morning.

Packaging: airtight tins of 500 ml, 200 ml and 50 ml.

A “Greatcoat?”

Well, it’s not a great coat, it’s a terrific coat, lightweight and waterproof so you can wear it in warm/hot wet weather with little under it or cold by wearing something warm under it. It’s unlike a “greatcoat” which is thick, heavy, very warm and meant for cold, fairly inactive use.

Jacket not exchanged - only refunded.

I bought a jacket for myself and my wife along with the wax. Sadly my wife’s jacket (size 10) was slightly too small, so I returned it recorded delivery and attached the invoice with clear instructions asking for a size 12. However I have just received confirmation I will be refunded by cash rather than the new jacket. Such a shame as I was keen have this jacket for a Xmas gift.

Now the jacket is not showing up on the websites to reorder.

after purchasing a wax jacket it was found to have leaks in the shoulder seams. after emailing I had an immediate response and within a matter of a couple of days I was given a full refund. Would recommend this company

More waxy than two boxes of candles

After a single application of wax, I have been able to use my trilby hat as a bucket. Spread it all over Wales. It prevents leeks.

The coat was huge. I ordered a Medium because i have a large chest but the sleeves were about six inches too long. I wanted to know if you do petite sizes because I’m only 5 ft tall. I would definitely buy one if i had a good fit

Difficult to review as bought it with the hat to reproof when required so haven't used it yet.
