HT lead is used to efficiently transfer power over distance or to continue power across spaces such as gates. The cable is in effect part of your live fence, like your tape, wire or net, but insulated to 18,000v to allow you to bury or run the wire without shorting. It is required when installing mains energisers.

All you need

All you need in one kit but if you want to run off the mains, you will need to buy an extra reel of cable. The electrical connections on the clips are fiddly to convert to mains power - could do with larger crocodile clips - but all working well now.
Overall well made and good quality.
