Hotline HLB50 Hobby 12v Electric Fence Battery Energiser / Fencer

This is the second Hotline Hobby that we have brought and we have been very pleased with them. It is useful having both the flashing light and the noise signifying that the energiser is working. And it was a reasonable price.

I’ve learned a lesson that it’s worth spending that little bit more on a robust energiser, I have to run 2 energisers. I’ve got a very old Hotline which is still running on my yard fencing, it has never had problems, but I was caught out after a theft of my solar unit and unwisely I decided to get a slightly cheaper unit. The cheapo X-stop I bought 5 months ago now isn’t working! I need a reliable energiser. So I decided to get another Hotline. It’s totally a superior product, it kicks a punch and my batteries are seemingly lasting longer than they were with the slighly cheaper one. Lesson learned. Prompt delivery too! I’m keeping Equestrian Co on my contact list as they seem very competitive on price. I don’t do reviews normally!
