So easy to use and no more Charing batteries

Needed charging 24 hours before use, but no problems since. Just taken it off for recharging now (21st Nov) after about 8 months use on approx 400 yards of single tape fence for a track around 2 acres. The weeks of very dull weather has reduced the solar battery strength, but the field no longer needs a track fence, so it will be charged & stored for next Spring.

I have had my FireDrake for about a year now. It has been absolutely brilliant and worth every penny! No messing around buying and charging spare batteries, lugging heavy car batteries around... the FireDrake is SO easy to use! You literally attach the earth wire and the live wire and you're good to go! There is simply an on / off button which flashes so you know for certain it is on. I have used it 365 days a year. In summer it is on 24/7 as my horse lives out and in winter it's on for 10-12 hours as my horse is turned out whilst I'm at work. I have never had to use the mains charger, but it's good to know it's there in case. The FireDrake is not heavy and it's very easy to move around with the built-in handle. I'm on a very secluded private yard so I don't feel any nees to chain it down but if you needed to you could pass a chain through the handle to padlock it to something. Absolutely one of my best horsey buys!
