Great product fits my mastiff x husky perfectly for a light support for an old ligament injury when we go running.
I bought these as extra support for my dog as along with a few other issues he had degenerative hypertension. Sadly he passed away on bank holiday monday but these arrived in time for what turned out to be his final beach trips and I'm very grateful for that.
Had to return first pair as velcro was pulling loops of elastic from the fabric. Company were good offered advice and replaced. However the second pair did the same (on first wearing) despite trying to protect them with self adhesive bandages. Dog finds them comfortable and they do offer support but now ,after a week, the velcro is wearing and not sticking. I expected better quality for the money paid.
I use back on track products on myself but still couldn’t tell you if they work or not, however I always figure it’s one of those “it couldn’t hurt” kind of scenarios. My dog has been diagnosed with some damage to his carpus so I wanted to use this as both support and to keep it warm and to try and stimulate some blood flow. Unfortunately his dew claw is already destroying the inside of it, with loose threads coming out quite significantly. This is a design flaw, rather than just this specific item, as any dog with dew claws will of course have those claws rubbing at the fabric. That being said, there are also threads coming loose around the Velcro for no reason, So I’m not sure how long this will last before it’s in pieces.
Not very supportive for my dogs leg but seems well made, i returned item back to them
Our dog could not get used to using this support. The leg with the support went totally unused .... basically raised to the side doing nothing. It didn't work for us.
Well made and Velcro strong enough to hold them in place. My dog needed to have her carpel pad removed, once the major bandages were reduced this is useful to protect light dressing. Should also be useful to protect the wound area later although I’m not sure I would trust it to stay in place once she returns to full power!
